Dress Code for Caloosa
Elementary School
The way we dress influences our attitude about ourselves
and our work. When students are dressed appropriately for school, they know it
is time to learn. Our dress code will provide students with a feeling of pride
and unity.
ALL Caloosa Elementary School students follow a uniform
dress code. If you choose one uniform piece from Column A and a piece from Column B, you are uniformed!

Students
in violation of dress code will be asked to contact a parent in order to
provide appropriate clothing. If a parent cannot be contacted, children will
be asked to change into a uniform from our Cougie Uniform Recycle Shop. After
three infractions of the code per semester, students may be excluded from
special activities or events.
|
As your child grows throughout the school
year it becomes more difficult to find uniforms in the stores. For your
convenience, we do have a Cougie Uniform Recycle Shop on campus for even
exchange of outgrown clothing.
All clothing, including jackets and sweatshirts,
must be of appropriate length, size, and fit. Navy sweat suits are acceptable to wear, however,
we do suggest layering with a proper uniform underneath so the top layer may be
removed once the temperature warms up. Jackets or sweatshirts should be hung up
upon entering the classroom.
Cell Phones and Other Devices
Students with cell phones are expected to
keep them in their backpacks at ALL times and follow the BYOD policy
established by the school. Students may not use devices for personal use during
the school day nor on the bus. The school and district is not responsible for
lost, stolen, nor damaged devices.
